Macleay Island Skate Park (opened 2014, a $500k community project) at the corner of High Central Road and Scarborough Terrace is a plaza-style concrete park designed for beginner, intermediate and advanced users. It features ramps, steps and grind walls for skaters, scooters and BMX, plus a performance stage, shelter, seating, drinking fountain and toilets. A versatile all-abilities island spot leaning towards street/plaza skating.
