South Hedland Skatepark

About this spot

Convic-designed skatepark at the South Hedland Youth Space (South Hedland Sports Complex), opened in 2015 and billed as Australia's largest at around 3,300 sqm. It has both street and bowl sections, including two large bowls, a sunken street area with flat banks and stair gaps, ledges, flat bars and kickers, with surrounding transitions and banks. A shade structure was added in a 2022 upgrade. Caters to all skill levels.
