Armidale Skate Park, next to the Monckton Aquatic Centre on Dumaresq Street, is a large concrete park mixing transition and street with a smooth, grippy surface and steel coping. Obstacles include an open bowl, spine, mini ramps, banks, a funbox, pyramid, hubbas, handrails, flatbars and ledges, with larger transitions and slightly steeper inclines that also favour BMX and scooter riders. A genuine all-rounder, though some older reviews flagged drainage and maintenance issues.
