Springwood Water Reservoir (the Springwood Water Tower site) is a vast open concrete apron, roughly the size of two and a half football fields, rather than a purpose-built skatepark. It is flat ground with no transitions or obstacles, used informally for cruising and learning on skateboards, scooters and bikes, with painted murals on the surrounding walls. The wide-open flat suits beginners and flatground practice, but offers nothing for transition or street skaters.
