About this spot
Built in 2004 by Concrete Skateparks at the RJ Rowley Recreation Reserve, Rye Skatepark features two concrete bowls: an 8-foot main bowl with concrete coping and a cradle (cited as the first cradle bowl in the Southern Hemisphere), plus a shallow mini bowl with a sloped extension. There is also a down rail down a bank and a block beside the large bowl. The deep bowl and cradle make it best suited to advanced transition skaters.
