About this spot
Ballina Skatepark (also known as Missingham) sits by the Richmond River off Kingsford Smith Drive and is one of the best in the Northern Rivers, with a large concrete footprint heavy on transition. It has four bowls, three linked by spines at varying heights plus a standalone bowl around 8.5ft deep in the vert extension, with street obstacles like rails, ledges and banks around the perimeter. A covered seating area overlooks the park and river; great for confident transition skaters but the deep bowls push it past beginner territory.
