Esplanade Youth Plaza is a world-class Convic-built concrete skatepark on Fremantle's Esplanade Reserve, opened in 2014 at a cost of $1.6 million. It features a long continuous street run with stair sets, hubbas, rails and gaps, plus a bowl with multilevel transitions and a halfpipe feeding into ramps and a multi-level quarterpipe. Highly rated and very versatile, it caters to all abilities but gets busy and can overwhelm younger riders on weekends.
