Whyalla's skate facility at Civic Park (officially RiskIt Park) combines an older donut-shaped concrete bowl roughly 3-4ft deep, with a length of coping forming a small quarterpipe, alongside a newer street course. The street section offers a funbox, pyramid and grind rails, with a dirt jump track and basketball courts adjacent. The mellow shallow bowl and modest street obstacles make it friendly for beginners through intermediate riders.
