Tin Can Bay Skatepark (Wes Mitchell Park, on the Esplanade) is a small concrete park with banks, a mini ramp, a pyramid, rails, ledges/grind boxes and a couple of quarter pipes, set beside a playground, shelter and toilets. Reviewers note the quarters are fairly mellow (one around 5ft skating more like a banked wall with coping) and could be steeper. The low-key, low obstacles suit beginners and intermediates.
