About this spot

Maryland Skatepark is at Grange Avenue Reserve on Boundary Road in the Newcastle suburb of Maryland, next to the local shops. It mixes a concrete transition section with a linked metal street setup, including 8ft banks at each end, a central multi-sided pyramid, a mini ramp, spine, quarters, curved and banked ledges, a pole jam and a banked jersey barrier. Designed with input from skaters, the variety of features and modest scale suit all levels including kids on bikes and scooters.
